Hearing other people’s reactions to your work can be scary, but it can be a great way to improve your writing. Sometimes it’s one of the fastest ways to get an impression on your writing from outside perspectives. That’s where the workshops come in. If you’re on the fence about in-person critique workshop groups, or you’ve done them in the past and just want to get back into the swing of things, this is a one-day group and it’ll help you ease back in. Submit up to five pages. Groups will be capped at four students. Each student will have 20 minutes of group critique, and students will be responsible for written notes for the other participants. Date and time TBD based on sign-ups. Logistics/rules clarified to participants. There will be surprises involved.
